１９９５年『収穫の喜びが感じられる丹精込めたモノづくり』をコンセプトに、ハーヴェストは誕生しました。吉田カバンで「PORTER」などのブランドを生み出したカリスマバッグデザイナー・山口幸一と共に、新ブランド「HARVEST LABEL」を立ち上げ、発表します。
その後も、機能性を保ちながらシンプルで飽きのこないデザイン、コストパフォーマンスを追求した「MOUSTACHE」や、レザーコレクションの「DOUBLES」をはじめとするPBを数々生み出し、独創的なバッグを作り続けてきました。
そのデザイン性と物作りの経験を生かし、２０１６年、三重県で開催された国際会議G7伊勢志摩サミットの公式オリジナルバッグの製造依頼を請けると、三重県名産の組み紐を使ったトートバッグを提案・製作。日本を代表するバッグメーカーのバッグとして、サミット参加国関係者および世界中のプレス関係者に提供され、元号が令和となり、初の国際会議となったG20大阪サミットでも、公式オリジナルバッグを受注し、会議関係者およびプレスに配布されました。
同時に、海外事業も推進し、現在北米、欧州、アジアなどへの販売網を確立。東京オリンピックが開催される2020（令和2）年、株式会社ハーヴェストは設立25周年を迎え、インターナショナルのバッグメーカーとして、さらなる躍進を目指します。
Harvest Corporation was founded in 1995, with a mission to design and produce innovative, high quality carry goods from our heart and soul. Thus, the name “HARVEST”; to further cultivate and appreciate the craftmanship to set new heights beyond the ordinary. With this mindset, the brand HARVEST LABEL was founded together with the former designer known for his Tanker collection, Koichi Yamaguchi, from PORTER brand of Yoshida Co., Ltd.
The brand launched many iconic new series, such as FLYER’S and SUPER HARCULES, creating loyal fans along the way. Today, these bags are purchased as collectables and continue to be used by loyal fans, showcasing superb quality and durability of this flagship brand.
Harvest Corporation’s founder and CEO, Tatsuya Hige’s vision has not changed since inception, as bags being part of one’s fashion statement and identity, not just as a tool to carry items. His relentless pursuit towards innovative design, materials and functionality to create new bags season after season has become the drive and asset of what we do today.
Through these years of hard work, and as proof of our skills and quality standards, Harvest Corporation was chosen and repesentied as the official Japanese bag design/manufacturer for the recent 42nd G7 summit, held on May 26–27, 2016 at Mie, Japan, and again at the G20 summit held on June 28-29, 2019 at Osaka, Japan. The bags produced were provided to the world’s top officials and media representatives.
